With the number of solar systems we install these days, it is really hard to keep up with how the legacy systems are all performing (not with Enphase or SolarEdge Systems, though – we know exactly how each and every one of those is going).
So it’s great to get an email like the one below showing that our customers do get what we promise and that we only promise what we can deliver:
“Hello Peter,
You installed a Solar system for us in February 2014.
I am pleased to say that I am very happy with the system and its performance. It has been very reliable and is saving us money.
I thought you may be interested to know that in your company’s original quote it was indicated that the power generated was likely to be in the order of 11,388 kWh per year.
In the year to the day (27-Feb-2014 to 27-Feb-2015) the amount actually generated was 11,595 kWh.
In the last 12 months to date (13-10-15) the power generated has been 11,418 kWh.
So the estimates you provided have been remarkably accurate.
